This area is famous for the large population of turtles and manta rays year round and guests will frequently see them feeding. The island has a turtle nursery run by the local government which can be visited. Whale sharks are frequently seen off the coast of the island.

The Raja Ampat Aggressors favorite dives are "The Channel" and "Big Fish Country" which has tornados of barracuda, grey reef sharks, tresher sharks, loads of turtles and schooling eagle rays schooling. Maratua Island has at least 13 caves with hundreds more that have yet to be explored.

Kakaban is known for the non stinging jelly fish lake, located in the middle of the island. The non-stinging jellyfish have vacated the lake for centuries as there are known known predators. The outer ring of Kakaban island offers divers a wide variety of dive sites that includes corals, large pelagic and thrilling caves. The most famous area is Barracuda Point which has schooling barracuda which are visited by large tuna and sharks.

This is an area known for amazing macro life such as satomi pigmys, sea dragons, ghost pipefishe, frogfish, blue ring octopus, harlequin shrimp and tiger shrimp. This is a macro haven with the weird and wonderful.

A large population of whalesharks can be found here during the diving season. Similar to Cenderawasih Bay, the whale sharks can be found swimming under the fishing platforms of the local fishermen.

The Coral Gardens is an undulating bed of brightly coloured hard and soft corals shelving gradually to 27m before becoming sandy.

Among other beauties you can see sponges, giant sea fans, purple carpet anemones, feather stars and gorgonians, and giant clams, as well as cuttlefish and many species of graceful angelfish and butterfly fish darting in and out among them.

You can expect to see huge groups of starfish small anemones housing groups of clown fish and small clusters of raspberry stone coral where black and white damsels find protection.

Within this site there are 2 small wrecks. The older one is identified by the proliferation of more soft corals of the dendronephthya species and magnificent sea anemones, where you'll find sweetlips, gobies, scorpionfish, anemonefish and clownfish, jawfish, ribbon eels and groupers lurking furtively under the wreck.

You can expect to see large specimens of barracuda, jacks, grey reef and variegated sharks, snapper, surgeonfish and trevally.

The corals are also spectacular along the wall and include the amazing Gorgonian Sea Fans, as well as a variety of soft corals and sponges. A grab line has been permanently attached to help divers ascend to the shallows.

Famous for its blue-ribbon eels, this beautiful dive site abounds in small sharks and shoals of fusiliers, snapper, catfish and jacks.

A variety of soft corals and sponges can be seen, including lettuce coral, tube coral, and even some Gorgonian sea fans. The amazing Giant Clam can be seen on the seabed, along with lobsters and other crustaceans.

Green turtles are the main attraction at this Sangalaki diving site, as implied by its name. You'll either find them feeding, mating or resting. When you bare in mind that an annual average of 20 - 30 turtle nests are laid on the beaches each night, you'll have a better idea of the size of the mating activities of the turtles.

Turtle Town is the more famous of the 2 sites in Sangalaki where you will come across its famous green turtles. Located in the southwest corner of Sangalaki, there are gullies and stony ridges all over the place at this rather flat dive site, which make this place ideal for green turtles to stop for a bite to eat or rest up for a while.

Along with them, you'll also find reef fish like pufferfish, moorish idols as well as sea stars and feather stars. Other marine life which you'll see here include octopus, giant cuttlefish, popcorn crabs, catfish, shy mandarinfish and for lovers of macrolife, flamboyantly coloured nudibranchs.25

Jef Fam Group of islands is another fascinating site in the Raja Ampat Archipelago. Jet Fam is composed of scenic group of several islands and islets that are lying straightly west of Batanta island.

With a depth varying from 5 m to 35 m and a visibility that ranges from 5 m to 25 m, it is a good place for diving and macro underwater photography as well. The currents here are moderate and the surface conditions are usually calm. You can dive here all year round and the site is suitable for both novice and advanced divers.

The site is rewarded for sightings of the rare tasseled wobbegong accompanied with the great barracuda, bicolor angelfish, purple and threadfin anthias, masked rabbitfish, black and white banded sea snakes, fusiliers, green and blue damsels, mimic octopus and species of triggerfish such as the titan and the clown triggerfish.

The beautiful Mioskon reef offers new divers a great first impression of what they can expect from Raja Ampat. Schools of Yellow Snapper, Napoleon Wrasse, big groupers and many Wobbegong sharks can be found in Mioskon. Pigmy seahorses, different species of nudibranch can be seen as well. Being relatively shallow it makes for a good snorkel too.
