Compass Point Dive Resort is a dedicated dive-focused beachfront resort located in the tranquil East End district of Grand Cayman, one of the Cayman Islands in the western Caribbean. Set away from the island’s main tourist hubs, the resort occupies a scenic stretch of coastline chosen specifically for its proximity to some of Grand Cayman’s best reef and wall diving sites, offering guests direct access to world-class underwater adventures.

The resort comprises 28 one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums, each with its own private balcony or patio and stylish island-inspired décor. These spacious units are fully equipped with comforts such as kitchens, living areas and modern amenities, creating a relaxed “home away from home” atmosphere that suits couples, families and dive groups alike.

At the heart of the property is Ocean Frontiers Dive Shop, a PADI Five-Star Dive Centre that operates directly from the resort’s private dock. With more than 55 named dive sites just minutes away, divers can enjoy daily two-tank boat dives to pristine walls, vibrant reefs, wrecks and encounters with turtles, stingrays and reef sharks. For many guests, the convenience of stepping straight from their accommodation onto a dive boat is a major highlight of the experience.

The resort’s leisure facilities include two outdoor swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, barbeque areas, free Wi-Fi and complimentary bicycles and kayaks for exploring the surrounding coastline. Compass Point also features the beachfront Eagle Rays Bar & Grill, where guests can enjoy international fare and panoramic Caribbean Sea views.

Ocean Frontiers is a luxurious PADI 5 star IDC dive centre located on the grounds of Compass Point Resort offering an array of diving trips and certification courses. The friendly and professional team are fully trained so whether you are a certified diver or looking to try scuba diving for the first time they can cater to the needs of individuals.

The East End of Grand Cayman offers world class scuba diving and is known for its pristine reefs and breath taking wall diving. The dive centre boasts its own pier with custom-built, state of the art dive boats waiting at the end of the dock to take you out and experience the fantastic diving on offer.

Ocean Frontiers offers the perfect combination for your diving holiday with freedom, safety and adventure being part of their full “Dive Valet” service, making equipment handling, storing, rinsing and set-up a hassle free process.

The dive centre has a team of 25 dedicated guides and instructors who are passionate about diving and showing you the best the East End has to offer with a choice of two tank boat dives, one tank boat dives, three tank safari trips, night dives, wreck dives, lionfish dives, stingray dives and photography workshop there is certainly something to suit every diver!

PADI Open Water Diver (Inc Equipment)

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

PADI Online Open Water Diver

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The Online PADI Open Water Course was recently launched by PADI and enables you to complete the theoretical training and knowledge development sessions online and then take the final exam and complete the confined and open water dives in resort.

This is an exclusive opportunity we run with Inmo Divers in Dahab. The cost of the online section is 120USD and can be completed within on the PADI E-Learning website .

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

You attain this rating by completing five pool dives and a number of knowledge development sessions with a final exam (which is not rocket science it’s just diving) and by completing four open water dives.

PADI Open Water Referral

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

You attain this rating by completing five pool dives and a number of knowledge development sessions with a final exam (which is not rocket science its just diving) and by completing four open water dives.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.

PADI Bubblemaker

Experience scuba diving under the direct supervision of a PADI Pro. Take your first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6ft. For children who are at least 8 years old.
