Namale Resort & Spa is a luxury all-inclusive boutique retreat located in Savusavu on Vanua Levu, Fiji’s second-largest island, set across 525 acres of tropical rainforest, coastline and volcanic landscapes overlooking the Koro Sea. Dive Namale is a PADI 5 Star Resort facility located on the grounds of the world renowned Namale Resort & Spa. Dive Namale looks forward to bringing the same Five Star experience and attention to detail to its diving program. Everything about Dive Namale is new. From the brand new custom built 37 feet. dive boat ‘Namale Pearl’ to the equipment and the dive program itself. With a renewed focus on the experienced, world travelled dive enthusiast, Dive Namale and the Namale Resort & Spa is poised to offer that truly world class experience both above as well as below the surface.

The diving available just minutes from the Namale Marina is astounding. Sheer vertical walls and sea mounts abound and all within a quick 15 to 20 minute boat trip. Sites such as Purple Gardens, “Dream House”, and Leapper’s Wall all offer divers breath-taking underwater seascapes as well as an array of reef fish and pelagics. Venturing out a bit further, Dive Namale frequently conducts trips to Namena Marine Preserve where divers enjoy sites like “Yellow Wall”, Grand Central Station, and “The Chimneys”. Dive Namale schedules trips to the barrier reefs in the Somosomo Straits near Taveuni to dive sites like “Rainbow Reef” and “The Great White Wall”.

Bauer and Mako Compressors make up the backbone of Dive Namale’s air fill system. Dive Namale is also now proud to offer Nitrox to properly trained, qualified, and certified Nitrox Divers. Dive Namale utilises the Nitrox Stik Continuous Gas Blending System from EnviroDive Technologies ltd.

PADI Open Water Diver (Inc Equipment)

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you're short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

  • Knowledge Development (online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving – just the first three of five sections of the Open Water Diver course.

  • Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills – just the first three of five dives of the Open Water Diver course

  • Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore – just two of four dives of the Open Water Diver course.
