Raja4Divers is an exclusive boutique dive resort located on the private island of Pulau Pef in Raja Ampat, Indonesia, surrounded by pristine rainforest, turquoise lagoons and some of the richest coral reefs on the planet. Built in traditional Papuan style and limited to a small number of guests, the resort offers a peaceful and intimate atmosphere ideal for divers, snorkellers and nature lovers seeking a remote island escape.

The resort features a collection of spacious waterfront Papuan-style bungalows built on stilts along a palm-fringed beach, each designed with natural materials and equipped with modern comforts including semi-open bathrooms, private sunset decks and direct sea access. With only a limited number of bungalows and a maximum of around 18–24 divers at one time, the resort maintains a relaxed and personalised environment.

Diving is the main highlight of the experience, with access to more than 60 dive sites around Pulau Pef and the Dampier Strait. Guests can explore vibrant coral gardens, dramatic walls and diverse marine habitats inhabited by manta rays, wobbegong sharks, barracuda, pygmy seahorses and countless reef species. The resort’s professional dive centre offers guided diving, snorkelling and personalised service, with small dive groups and dedicated camera facilities particularly appreciated by underwater photographers.

Beyond diving, guests can enjoy kayaking through mangroves, birdwatching, jungle exploration and relaxing on secluded beaches while taking in spectacular sunsets. The Papuan Style Water Bungalows measure approximately 128 m² and feature large double or twin bed configurations, accommodating up to 4 guests. Built on stilts along the beachfront in authentic Papuan style, they offer a spacious open-air design with a semi-outdoor bathroom, expansive sunset deck, hammock, loungers, and direct access to the sea.

Raja4Divers Dive Centre

Raja4Divers

Raja4Divers Dive Centre is managed by a team of professional PADI instructors and backed by experienced dive guides that have dived the waters around Raja Ampat for a number of years. The dive centre is located in the main building at the start of the jetty with the wet and dry storage areas conveniently located at the end of the jetty where dive briefings are held and the dive boats are docked.

Equipped with a Bauer Mariner 320-E and a Bauer M250B compressor as well as a Nuvair LP 280 Nitrox membrane system, Raja4Divers offers up to three guided boat dives daily plus a night dive. The use of Nitrox 32 is encouraged and offered free of charge to certified Enriched Air Divers. A range of PADI courses are on offer so if you want to become Nitrox certified or undertake any other PADI specialty while in Raja Ampat just let us know at the time of booking and your Ultimate Diving representative will take care of all arrangements.

The dive boats are equipped with built-in shade protection and have been custom fitted for maximum space and comfort with a ratio of one dive guide to four divers and a maximum of eight divers per boat. Each dive boat is equipped with standard safety equipment including a first aid kit, oxygen, tools, GPS, compass, 2-way radio as well as a dedicated padded camera crate, drinking water and towels on all trips.

Please Note:

Limited rental gear is available at the resort including BCD’s, regulators, dive computers and dive torches and to avoid disappointment, items have to be pre-booked at least 60 days in advance.



Important Notices :

Dedicated diving insurance such as DAN or similar which covers emergency evacuation is mandatory due to Raja Ampat’s remote access.



PADI Open Water Diver (Inc Equipment)

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

PADI Open Water Referral

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

You attain this rating by completing five pool dives and a number of knowledge development sessions with a final exam (which is not rocket science its just diving) and by completing four open water dives.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.

PADI Scuba Refresher

Refresh your scuba diving skills and knowledge. Go over important dive safety concepts.

You’ll go over important dive safety concepts, dive planning essentials and problem management. Your PADI Professional will have you practice putting your gear together and doing a pre-dive safety check with your buddy. In the water, you’ll review all the basic scuba skills with a focus on good buoyancy control.

PADI Adventure Diver

After your Open Water course, why not start a PADI Adventure Diver course and complete some 'Adventure Dives'? You can also take part in just 1 or 2 Adventure Dives if you prefer and these will also count towards the Advanced certification.

To become a certified PADI Adventure Diver you will need to have achieved 3 Adventure Dives with a PADI certified Instructor. These can be completed in as little as 1 day.

PADI Online Open Water Diver

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The Online PADI Open Water Course was recently launched by PADI and enables you to complete the theoretical training and knowledge development sessions online and then take the final exam and complete the confined and open water dives in resort.

This is an exclusive opportunity we run with Inmo Divers in Dahab. The cost of the online section is 120USD and can be completed within on the PADI E-Learning website .

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

You attain this rating by completing five pool dives and a number of knowledge development sessions with a final exam (which is not rocket science it’s just diving) and by completing four open water dives.

PADI Bubblemaker

Experience scuba diving under the direct supervision of a PADI Pro. Take your first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6ft. For children who are at least 8 years old.

Explore deeper dive sites with confidence at depths down to 40 metres/130ft. Learn to manage your gas supply, go over buddy contact procedures, and buoyancy control.

PADI Night Diver

The underwater world changes as day creatures retire & nocturnal organisms emerge. If you've wondered what happens underwater after the sun goes down, enrol in the PADI Night Diver Specialty course.

Scuba diving at night teaches you to focus on what you can see in your light’s beam, on controlling your buoyancy by feel, on staying with your buddy and on paying attention to details you may overlook during the day. During three night dives, you’ll practice:

PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver

The most popular PADI specialty course. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives.

You’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations. During a practical session, and two optional (or required) scuba dives, you’ll:

PADI Rescue Diver
