The Truk Lagoon Dive Center is located on the grounds of the Truk Stop Hotel. This is the only centre land based dive shop in Truk Lagoon with nitrox mixes from 21% to 100% and trimix.

The centre offers guests customised dive boats for a comfortable journey to the dive sites in Chuuk Lagoon. On board they have all the necessary equipment including emergency oxygen, first aid kits, hangtanks and also a hangbar for technical divers.

The dive centre is set up for technical diving, offering a rebreather friendly environment with medical grade oxygen, helium and sofnolime in stock. The centre has 17 sets of rebreather bottles (2L and 3L sets) to rent. They also have 15 sets of manifolded doubles and many stage bottles (40/63 and 80 cu ft) all rigged with straps and clips. They have an experienced trimix blender on staff and guide divers go on ALL of the wrecks in the lagoon.

Blue Lagoon Dive Shop in Chuuk opened its doors to divers on November 13, 1973. Since then the humble shack has grown into a modern dive shop that provides full service to divers looking for adventure on the historic wrecks of Truk.

Located on the grounds of the Blue Lagoon Dive Resort, formerly known as the Truk Continental Hotel, the air conditioned dive shop provides sales, service and classes. A fleet of fast dive boats and knowledgeable guides provide easy access to the wrecks and allows divers the freedom to dive in small, personal groups on wrecks of their choice. This is where you will find some if the best diving in Micronesia.

When you experience the mystery and excitement of the Fujikawa Maru with its beautiful soft coral growth and schools of colourful fish or descend into the cargo holds of the Sankisan and San Francisco Maru you will understand why the license plates in Chuuk call it "Divers Haven." With over 40 wrecks to dive you will want to extend your trip!

The Blue Lagoon Dive Shop does not offer any courses and only accept certified divers. Guests needs to have their certification card with them otherwise they will not be able to dive.

Double Tanks:
Double tank diving is possible at the Blue Lagoon Resort as the centre is equipped with manifolds and bands. Please remember to pre-book this service in advance to avoid disappointment on arrival. Ultimate Diving can pre-book this service for you for £23.00 per day including the extra tank fills. Price is based on 2 dives a day.

Truk Lagoon’s water is pure, full of colour and World War II wrecks. The lagoon has taken the gifts of nature and man turned them into an underwater museum for the world to explore and enjoy.

The Truk Lagoon Dive Center is a TDI training facility offering PADI recreational courses and TDI for technical divers. The centre is located onsite and guests can benefit from the range of courses and diving packages organised daily.
