The Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort is situated in Berenice, Hamata, directly north of the Ras Banas peninsula, a prominent harbour located 185 km from Marsa Alam airport. This ancient city dates back two thousand years in Egyptian history and is thought to be the largest pristine coral reef ecosystem in the world.

The resort features a private beach where you can relax on golden sands, enjoy the crystal-clear waters, and sip on your favourite tropical cocktail.

Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort has dome-shaped rooms with air conditioning and satellite TV. All rooms offer a private balcony or terrace and all modern amenities blended into the natural landscape of the rugged mountains and swaying palm trees.

Sunrise Marina Resort & Emperor Divers in Marsa Alam

The overall holiday was excellent value for money. Emperor Divers provided an outstanding dive experience on day boat trips to provide some of the most relax dives I have ever encountered at reasonable depths.

ORCA Dive Club Wadi Lahmy is the southernmost dive centre in the ORCA Dive Clubs network, located within Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort in the peaceful village of Hamata, close to Egypt's spectacular Fury Shoals. Situated just minutes from the marina, the dive centre offers unrivalled access to some of the Red Sea's most pristine reefs, with daily boat and speedboat excursions to the world-famous Fury Shoals alongside unlimited diving on the vibrant house reef. Crystal-clear waters, colourful coral formations and abundant marine life create exceptional diving opportunities for beginners, experienced divers and underwater photographers alike.

Operating as an SSI, PADI and CMAS Training Centre, ORCA Dive Club Wadi Lahmy provides internationally recognised diver training, guided dives, technical diving, freediving and rebreather programmes for all experience levels. The purpose-built facility features modern rental equipment, Nitrox, two Bauer compressors, more than 250 steel cylinders and dedicated training facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable and professional diving experience. Supported by experienced multilingual instructors and ORCA's renowned commitment to quality, guests can enjoy personalised service both in and out of the water.

As part of the renowned ORCA Dive Clubs network, established in 1991, ORCA Dive Club Wadi Lahmy combines excellent facilities with access to one of Egypt's most remote and unspoilt diving regions. Whether exploring the colourful reefs of Fury Shoals, diving directly from the house reef or expanding diving skills through specialist training, guests can look forward to unforgettable underwater adventures in one of the Red Sea's hidden treasures.

SSI Advanced Diver

In order to complete the SSI Advanced Divers you must have completed a total of 24 dives Including the 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties

SSI Recommend a maximum qualifying depth of 30m but this can be increased to 39m with experience.

Stress and Rescue course can be taken before or after Advanced Diver.

The SSI Advanced Diver course includes 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties.

SSI Open Water Diver

This is a completion of a series of classroom lessons, 5 pool lessons and 5 open water lessons, the award of SSI Open Water Diver prepares the diver to enjoy their diving experience without incurring decompression stops. Kit removal and weight belt removal are included.

Open Water Lessons
5 qualification dives with 5th dive being a pleasure dive. First dive to a Maximum of 12m and subsequent dives to a maximum depth of 18m or 12m if classed as a junior.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.
