Orca Dive Club is located within the Zabargad Beach Resort. Not only are the off shore reefs brilliant, but the Orca Dive Club's House Reef is within 10km length in max which is 60m in depth that can be dived from 6am until 11pm giving you a fantastic opportunity to explore the virgin sites of the south.

The resort lies 5kms south of the small bedoiun town of Hamata and it is from the jetty in Hamata that their dive boats depart. Orca Dive Club organises a free shuttle service to the jetty which is only 5 minutes travelling time. Our very modern and comfortable rental equipment is serviced regularly in accordance with manufacturers recommendations guarantee a safe diving experience. There are 30 sets of equipment which is available to rent at any time. There is so much to discover on your diving trip such as rugged coral blocks, little canyons, cuts and caves can be found on the fringe reef with colourful reef fish and flora and fauna.

The Team at the Orca Dive Club Hamata has a permanent team of instructors that are all highly qualified and have years of diving experience at a PADI and CMAS level. Our team is happy to help and advise you every step of the way. They speak 3 different languages to help you with your journey (English, German and French).

Their diving centre is located at the heart of the arranged and landscaped 5 star Lahami Bay resort and gardens, which is the Southern most hotel at the Egyptian Red Sea coast still to this day. They have 220 modern guest rooms in two storey buildings situated in beautiful gardens, overlooking a magnificent sandy beach and the breath taking Red sea.

Not even a 100m from the beach the unique reef starts which is a barrier reef, going depths from 6 to 60 meters interfered by some ergs and small coral blocks with magnificent coral and underwater life.

The dive centre is managed by one of the biggest diving federations worldwide (Barracuda). They have a brilliant team of well trained and experienced dive instructors and qualified first-aid people who welcome everyone.

Please Note: Diving packages are priced based a full day boat trips.

Equipment is included in courses up to Open Water Diver. Manuals and certification fees are not included and will be charged at the dive centre.

The Zabargad Dive Resort offers convenient access to the renowned sites of Fury Shoal by day boat and also features an amazing house reef with 16 hours a day access to the reef from the resort jetty.

The Zabargad Dive Resort facilities make this resort a living paradise. The main restaurant offers indoor seating with panoramic views of the bay, and an outdoor terraced dining area. The range of activities is endless with the main activity being diving and snorkeling but safari trips can be organized at the resort to visit Arabian tents, the big mountains and the Shalateen city to see how people live.

The Zabargad Dive Resort has 72 rooms featuring either a balcony or terrace, all equipped with modern amenities.
