7 nights at the Oasis Dive Resort

Our experience with using Ultimate Diving was very good. The booking was easy and professionally carried out. We stayed at the Oasis Dive Resort, Marsa Alam, Egypt. It was the perfect place to enjoy a great diving and snorkeling location whilst staying at a relaxing, informal and quiet hotel, whose architecture was sensitive to its desert environment and whose staff were friendly and welcoming. The beautiful house reef was amazing! We have stayed there three times before and hope to go back next year. We would thoroughly recommend both Ultimate Diving and the Oasis Dive Resort. The Oasis Dive Centre

The Oasis Marsa Alam

The Werner Lau Diving Centre at The Oasis Resort is operated jointly by Werner Lau Diving Centers and Sinai Divers. Located directly at The Oasis Resort on the Red Sea coast, the dive centre provides a relaxed diving environment away from the busier areas of Marsa Alam. Its location makes it suitable for both beginner training and experienced divers.

The dive centre has a house reef directly in front of the centre, with dives conducted from a jetty over the reef. Diving options include house reef, shore and car-based diving, boat and Zodiac excursions, as well as trips to renowned sites such as Elphinstone Reef, Abu Dabbab and Dolphin House (Samadai Reef). The surrounding area is known for colourful coral reefs and marine life including turtles, dolphins, dugongs, eagle rays and sharks.

The centre provides SSI and IAC courses, including beginner programmes, Advanced Adventurer, speciality courses and Rescue Diver, with CMAS courses available on request. Beginner courses are conducted in small groups of up to six people. A range of rental equipment is available, including regulators, BCDs, masks, fins, 5 mm wetsuits and dive computers, while nitrox is available free of charge.

SSI Advanced Diver

The SSI Advanced Diver course expands your underwater boundaries by introducing you to five distinct diving specialties across five open-water training dives.

Deep Exploration: Master the physics, physiology, and safety protocols of diving up to 30 metres.

Underwater Navigation: Learn to use compass patterns, natural landmarks, and kick cycles to find your way.

Specialty Sampling: Complete three elective specialty dives tailored to your personal diving goals.

Skill Refinement: Improve your air consumption, buoyancy control, and situational awareness.

SSI Open Water Diver

This is a completion of a series of classroom lessons, 5 pool lessons and 5 open water lessons, the award of SSI Open Water Diver prepares the diver to enjoy their diving experience without incurring decompression stops. Kit removal and weight belt removal are included.

Open Water Lessons
5 qualification dives with 5th dive being a pleasure dive. First dive to a Maximum of 12m and subsequent dives to a maximum depth of 18m or 12m if classed as a junior.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.
