Khaolak Merlin Resort is a beachfront eco-resort located in Khao Lak, Thailand, along the scenic Andaman Sea coast approximately one hour from Phuket International Airport. Surrounded by preserved rainforest and lush tropical gardens, the resort offers a peaceful natural setting where guests can experience both the beauty of the coastline and the tranquillity of the forest environment.

SSI Open Water Diver

This is a completion of a series of classroom lessons, 5 pool lessons and 5 open water lessons, the award of SSI Open Water Diver prepares the diver to enjoy their diving experience without incurring decompression stops. Kit removal and weight belt removal are included.

Open Water Lessons
5 qualification dives with 5th dive being a pleasure dive. First dive to a Maximum of 12m and subsequent dives to a maximum depth of 18m or 12m if classed as a junior.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

SSI Advanced Diver

In order to complete the SSI Advanced Divers you must have completed a total of 24 dives Including the 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties

SSI Recommend a maximum qualifying depth of 30m but this can be increased to 39m with experience.

Stress and Rescue course can be taken before or after Advanced Diver.

The SSI Advanced Diver course includes 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties.
