M/Y Nortada

Ideal for small group charters.

The M/Y Nortada takes only 8 divers in its 4 well allocated cabins making her an exciting and intimate way to dive Darwin and Wolf and surrounding sites in the Galapagos.

The M/Y Nortada was built in France by naval builder Guy Couach and has been completely rebuilt and refit as a private liveaboard boat for small groups of up to 8 divers. Formerly owned by Quasar Nautica, the M/Y Nortada was bought by Rolf Wittmer Turismo and is currently in dry dock in Guayaquil getting upgraded and ready for its first diving trips scheduled for July 2014. The four fully air conditioning cabins on the lower deck with two single lower berths, private heads, lockers and drawers offer you a comfortable and enjoyable journey through the beautiful Galapagos Islands. The boat also features an extended occupancy option of up to 12 people, perfect for dive club groups that love to charter a boat for the week. The additional guests can be accommodated in the four full size upper berths available in each cabin.

The M/Y Nortada’s public areas include a beautiful and spacious main deck with the fly bridge, a galley, an air conditioned dining room and a comfortable lounge. The scuba diving platform has ample benches, outside showers, camera tables and technical and rebreather rinsing facilities. Daily diving takes place from one of the two 4.5 metres inflatable tenders with 20HP outboard engines that take fully equipped divers to and from the dive site.

The sun deck on the upper deck next to the fly bridge is the perfect place to unwind whilst sipping a cocktail and enjoying amazing sunsets after a hard day’s diving.

The Ultimate Diving team will offer you the best flight connections and stopover hotels available at the time of booking at an additional cost.
