Palau Reefs & Wrecks
The Palau Reefs and Wrecks itineraries take you to some of the best dive sites in the region. Below you will find a typical schedule on-board the Ocean Hunter I and Ocean Hunter III. We want to ensure that you dive the right site at the right time, therefore schedules might change.
The seven night itinerary starts at 10:30 in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel. Once on-board, you can set up your equipment and enjoy an amazing lunch. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to do the first dive on Helmet Wreck, a WWII Japanese ship which is easy to dive and you can check your equipment and weights.
At around 4:30 in the afternoon, the Ocean Hunter will cross the lagoon to the German Channel where you will be able to enjoy your second dive on this adventure.
On days 2, 3 and 4 you will be diving around the German Channel, big drop off, new drop off, blue holes, German wall, Barnum wall, blue corner, virgin blue hole, turtle Cove, ngedebus coral gardens, ngedebus wall, fairyland and many more.
On day 5, the Ocean Hunter moves to the Peleliu area where you will be diving some of the most interesting sites such as Peleliu wall, Peleliu corner, Peleliu coral garden, orange wall, Peleliu expressway and many others.
On day 6 you return to Ngemelis area for another dive and then make your way to the famous Jellyfish Lake (snorkelling and hiking) before you head on to Ulong where you can dive the channel, the tunnel, Siaes corner and shark city.
Day 7 will allow you to dive in the Ulong area and then as you approach Koror, a shipwreck dive adventure on the Iro or Chuyo Maru awaits you Chandelier Cave. If time permits you can also take part on a trip to Mandarinfish Lake.
If you are on the 7 night itinerary, you will disembark from the boat on day 8 at around 8am after an early breakfast and be transferred to a local hotel or the airport. If you have opted for the 10 night itinerary you will continue your diving experience around Ngerechong Island.
On day 9 and 10 you will be exploring some of the best sites in the area including channels, walls, WWII wrecks and Chandelier Cave.
On day 11 you will be saying your goodbyes to the crew and disembarking the Ocean Hunter at around 8am.
