Additional Information

Belize lies on the eastern coastline of central America, bordered on the north by Mexico, on the south west by Guatemala, and on the east by the Caribbean Sea. Belize has the second largest barrier reef in the world. Towards the north of the country the barrier reef runs near the shoreline and is possible to shore dive in some places. In the south the barrier reef is 20 miles out. Over the horizon from the outer edge of the barrier reef, there are the true Belize reef systems, the Turneffe Atoll, the Lighthouse Reef and the Glovers Reef.

Cancun in Mexico is home to world-class diving and to the “Meso-American Reef”, the second largest reef in the world running parallel to Riviera Maya’s coastline and the famous fresh water system “Cenotes” offering divers a truly unique and awe-inspiring cave diving experience. Here, you will have the opportunity to dive the swim-throughs of beautiful and nutrient rich coral gardens in crystal clear and warm waters and drift along deep walls covered with macro life, sponges and sea fans surrounded by colourful schools of fish and turtles.

Itinerary Overview

Are you ready? Let's get on that plane and live this adventure.

Flights depart from Heathrow at 21:40 arriving Belize at 16:12 the next day. This is a transit flight via the USA.

On arrival, you will be met by a member of our ground team who will transfer you to the Belize Aggressor.

Belize is most famous for its Blue Hole but there awaits much more for divers. There are some sheer walls to experience and tours to see Mayan ruins on the last day. Enjoy the Aggressor service on this luxury liveaboard.

Dive, relax and dive again!

Every Saturday at 6 pm, the luxurious Belize Aggressor III casts off from the Radisson Ft. George dock, located in the heart of downtown Belize City for a week of hassle-free diving to Lighthouse Reef, Half Moon Cay and the famous Blue Hole.

The mystical Blue Hole, a collapsed freshwater cave system is approximately 1000 feet across and over 400 feet deep. The Blue Hole was made famous by ocean pioneer Jacques-Yves Cousteau who declared it one of the Top Ten Dive Sites in the World. In 1971, he brought his ship, the Calypso, to the Blue Hole to chart its depths. Once descended into the Blue Hole guests will see beautiful vertical stalactite formations.

Different destination! Let’s go… This means you will have the opportunity to explore 2 underwater worlds on the same holiday!!

Fly from Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport at 10:30 and arrive Cancun at 13:15 on a direct flight.

Once you arrive you will be transferred to the Playa Del Carmen hotel where you will be staying for 7 nights.

This hotel is set in lush tropical gardens beside the famous white sand beaches and located just south of Playa del Carmen's shopping, dining and entertainment areas. This activity-filled resort built in Polynesian style features thatched roofs and light tones creating an exotic tropical ambience and welcomes all guests with a range of facilities and activities to keep you entertained during your stay.

Let’s dive again! This time the famous Cenotes and the reefs along the Cancun coastline.

Pro Dive in Playa Del Carmen offers a range of adventure dives to top spots on the Riviera Maya like Cenotes, Barracuda, Tortugas & Mama Viña Wreck or dive with Bull Sharks!

Another transfer, another flight, you guessed, another destination, this time Bogota in Colombia.

You will be transferred from Playa Del Carmen to Cancun airport where you will fly at 16:45 and you will arrive at 20:10 at El Dorado International Airport, in Bogota. You will be met at the airport in Bogota and transferred to your hotel.

Overnight stay at Hotel De La Opera.

Let’s continue this adventure!

Today you will have a day tour to some of the most iconic places in Bogota's historic centre. You will have the chance to admire the world's largest collection of pre-Hispanic gold at the Gold Museum, and see the artistic work of Fernando Botero, Colombia's most famous painter and sculptor at the Botero Museum.

You will have the opportunity to enjoy the diversity of architectural styles on display in the historic neighbourhood of La Candelaria and will revel in the spectacular panoramic views of the city from the top of Cerro de Monserrate.

Today you will be taken to the small, traditional town of Zipaquira.

Zipaquira is home of the stunning structure built inside the extensive caves of an old salt mine. The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira is a true testimony to the miners' faith in a higher power and one of the most notable achievements in Colombian architecture.

After visiting the salt mine, you will head to a hacienda (a Colombian farm). The farm owners will welcome you like family and prepare a delicious and traditional Colombian lunch. Afterwards, you will get a hands-on experience as you participate in important farm and agricultural activities such as milking a cow and whipping up homemade cheese that is typically found in this Colombian region.

This hacienda tour, plus exploring the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira will introduce you to an authentic side of Colombian culture and you will enjoy the beautiful countryside scenery surrounding Bogota, Colombia.

All good things come to an end! It’s time to say your goodbyes and return home!

The tour ends today. You will be transferred to the airport to star your journey back home.
