Pro Dive Mexico - Playa Del Carmen

Royal Hideaway Resort

Pro Dive International operates several PADI 5-Star dive centers in and around Playa del Carmen, providing divers with convenient access to the Riviera Maya’s diverse underwater attractions. Its main dive center is located directly on the beach at Royal Hideaway Playacar, with additional check-in points and dive centers at resorts including Allegro Playacar, Occidental at Xcaret Destination and Catalonia Playa Maroma. The centers are recognized with National Geographic and Green Star awards and are supported by a qualified, multilingual team.

The Playa del Carmen operation offers diving for different experience levels, from shallow local reefs suitable for beginners to deeper sites and stronger-current locations for experienced divers. Local sites include Jardines, Tortugas, Cerebros and the Mama Viña wreck, while divers can also join excursions to the famous Mayan cenotes, experience seasonal bull shark diving, or travel to Cozumel to explore sites such as Palancar and Santa Rosa Reef. Boats depart directly from the shore, with many local dive sites reachable within approximately 5–10 minutes.

Pro Dive also provides a broader range of diving services, including dive packages, cenote excursions, bull shark experiences and professional PADI training through its Career Development Center. The operation offers free Nitrox when available across its dive centers, while its bull shark program also supports local conservation through donations to Saving Our Sharks.
