Raja Ampat Dive Lodge is a beachfront eco-resort located on Mansuar Island in Raja Ampat, Indonesia, positioned in the heart of the biodiverse Dampier Strait. Surrounded by white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters and tropical rainforest, the lodge offers a peaceful island escape with direct access to some of the region’s most renowned dive sites.

The resort features a range of comfortable rooms and beachfront bungalows, designed with a blend of ecological awareness and traditional Balinese-inspired style. Accommodation is simple yet practical, offering essential comforts and a relaxed atmosphere suited to both divers and holidaymakers seeking an authentic island experience.

Diving is a key highlight, with the lodge ideally located just minutes from iconic sites such as Manta Ridge, Cape Kri, Sardine Reef and Mike’s Point. Guests can expect encounters with manta rays, large schools of fish and rich macro life, while the house reef and calm shoreline also provide excellent opportunities for snorkelling directly from the resort.

Facilities include a long 133-metre jetty, perfect for sunrise and sunset views, along with dining areas serving a mix of local and international cuisine, a small bar and relaxed communal spaces. Raja Ampat Dive Lodge

Raja Ampat Dive Lodge is the dedicated dive operation at Raja Ampat Dive Lodge on Mansuar Island, strategically located in the Dampier Strait in Raja Ampat, Indonesia. The PADI dive centre offers training for beginners and experienced divers, alongside guided diving across the spectacular reefs of Northern Raja Ampat. Its location provides easy access to renowned sites including Manta Ridge, Cape Kri, Sardine Reef and Mike’s Point, all within a short boat ride of the lodge.

The surrounding waters are renowned for exceptional marine biodiversity, with opportunities to encounter manta rays, reef sharks, wobbegong sharks, colourful reef fish and fascinating macro life. Divers can explore vibrant coral reefs and underwater landscapes, while the lodge’s house reef provides an additional option for exploring the rich marine life close to shore.

Raja Ampat Dive Lodge offers PADI Open Water and Advanced Open Water courses, with equipment and dive boat included in its learn-to-dive programmes. Certified divers can choose from multi-day dive packages ranging from four to 61 dives, with dive sites within approximately 15 kilometres of the lodge included in the packages. The centre also provides guided boat diving and combines its land-based diving with liveaboard trips for guests looking to explore more of Raja Ampat.

PADI Open Water Diver (Inc Equipment)

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.
