Insider’s View

Gozo is often overlooked by divers, it is a relatively small island located in the Mediterranean Sea and is one of the 21 islands that make up the Maltese archipelago. Believe it or not it is home to some world class diving! Another string on Gozo’s bow is it is only a short flight away from the UK and is very affordable.

All the above make for great place for a quick get a way! Offering beautiful blue seas that rarely drop below 13 degrees which means it is a year-round diving destination, plenty of marine life, exciting deep wreck dives alongside breath-taking topography.

Above water Gozo is well known as a tranquil haven, with its green rolling hills, elaborate churches, old stone farmhouses dotted around the countryside and tiny fishing villages there is lots to enjoy and explore.

Below the surface this destination’s rocky coast offers a playground of tunnels, reef wrecks, and caves to explore with visibility of 40 metres. Most of the best sites are accessible from the shore the other are just a short boat ride away.

Well known diving sites such as Inland Sea and the nearby Blue Hole, voted as Europe's top 10 dive sites are located near Gozo.
