Grand Hotel Gozo is a four-star hotel located in Mgarr Harbour on the island of Gozo, Malta, offering panoramic views across the Gozo Channel towards Comino and mainland Malta. Extra Divers

Grand Hotel

The Centre is situated right next door to the Grand Hotel in Mgarr, just only 15 metres away from the nice terrace of the Hotel.

Extra Divers offers two jeep trips daily and frequently additional night dives. Furthermore Extra Divers organizes boat trips to Comino island and full day trips to selected places on the main island Malta. Guided diving is always conducted in small groups and you will explore the most spectacular places around Gozo, most particularly wrecks, drop offs, caves and caverns…

Extra Divers also offers the complete range of diving courses in English and German language following the worldwide-accepted standards of SSI. To discover the fascinating world under water an introductory dive will be the first step - you don't need to have any license. You can achieve the first certification in a SSI Scuba Diver course in just three days and the SSI Open Water Diver Certificate in just five days. These courses guarantee lots of fun and fascinating adventures. More advanced training is also available to improve your scuba skills.

Apart of the reception, compressor room and a room for hire equipment you will find a special drying room where you can safely leave your diving equipment throughout your complete stay. The dive trips start and end directly in front of this drying room. However it is not necessary to bring along your equipment for a diving holiday. EXTRA DIVERS offers 15 complete sets of hire equipment at reasonably rates, which meet highest safety standards and include even modern dive computers.

5.5 mm neoprene wetsuits in different sizes guarantee comfortable dives and Technisub underwater torches help you explore numerous caves around Gozo or enjoy night dives. And to take some shots home from the fantastic dives you can hire Sea & Sea MX10 underwater cameras with separate flashlights. Two Coltri compressors and 60 steel tanks in different sizes provide always enough air for the next adventure… Furthermore if you just want to snorkel, snorkeling equipment is available as well. You can just join one of our daily dive trips and your dream of submarine wonderland will come true.
