Qamea is romance defined and you can get away on a romantic afternoon to honeymoon beach, a private beach just minutes away from the resort. The resort’s neighbouring islands offer a tropical paradise of adventure and beauty where you can avail yourself in a wide range of complimentary activities including incredible snorkelling, hobie cat sailing, windsurfing, sea canoeing, hiking, croquet, visiting one of the local villages and lots more.

The diving here is also world renowned and with a fully equipped PADI accredited 5 Star dive facility the resort’s diving staff can introduce you to an underwater adventure you will remember forever. Premier dive sites include Purple Wall, Qamea Freeway, Swirling Coconut and many more, with 23 out of 26 pristine and bursting with colour dive sites within an 8 minute boat ride from the resort.

When you have completed your diving day, make the most of the resort’s award winning “Jungle Spa”. This spa is the only Guinot Institute Paris Spa in the South Pacific and offers a wide range of treatments.

Honeymoon Bure

The 2 Honeymoon Bures available are 85 square metre traditional Fijian thatched bures set at the far end of the resort's long white sandy beach, commanding incredible ocean, beach and lagoon views. The oversized bathroom has double sinks and floor to ceiling window sliders that pocket into the wall and open up to a lush tropical private garden with a Jacuzzi spa pool and outdoor shower.

Royal Beach House

The 3 luxurious Royal Beach Houses are also set at the end of the resort’s exquisite white sandy beach, offering absolute privacy and outstanding ocean and beach views. Experience some of the world's premier dive sites, located just off the white sand shores of Qamea Resort & Spa. Qamea Resort & Spa has a fully accredited PADI 5 Star dive operation offering dive trips local and world-class dive sites such as Purple Wall and Qamea Freeway.

Most dive sites are within ten minutes of the resort, so you will not waste valuable holiday time on a dive boat. Even if you are a serious diver you can easily dive three tanks in one day and still have ample time for an afternoon of relaxation on the beach, in the spa, or simply reading a good book in your private hammock.

The resort’s friendly, experienced and safety-conscious dive team will take you on dive adventures that you will remember for the rest of your life. Diving with Qamea Resort is effortless. For the more adventurous, the dive centre can arrange a memorable day trip diving Taveuni‘s world-famous Somosomo Strait or the Yellow Wall.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you're short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

PADI Open Water Diver (Inc Equipment)

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

PADI Open Water Referral

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

You attain this rating by completing five pool dives and a number of knowledge development sessions with a final exam (which is not rocket science its just diving) and by completing four open water dives.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.

PADI Online Open Water Diver

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The Online PADI Open Water Course was recently launched by PADI and enables you to complete the theoretical training and knowledge development sessions online and then take the final exam and complete the confined and open water dives in resort.

This is an exclusive opportunity we run with Inmo Divers in Dahab. The cost of the online section is 120USD and can be completed within on the PADI E-Learning website .

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

You attain this rating by completing five pool dives and a number of knowledge development sessions with a final exam (which is not rocket science it’s just diving) and by completing four open water dives.

PADI Rescue Diver

Become a Rescue Diver. A great level to be. You will have the skills to aid your fellow divers in an emergency.

The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include:

Wreck dive

A trip to the local wreck dives is a must for the experienced diver. It is an amazing experience!

PADI Underwater Navigator

Fine-tune your underwater observation skills and learn to use your compass more accurately. This course may count towards college credit, ask your instructor.

You’ll learn the tools of the trade, including navigation using natural clues and by following compass headings. During three scuba dives, you’ll practice:

PADI Night Diver

The underwater world changes as day creatures retire & nocturnal organisms emerge. If you've wondered what happens underwater after the sun goes down, enrol in the PADI Night Diver Specialty course.

Scuba diving at night teaches you to focus on what you can see in your light’s beam, on controlling your buoyancy by feel, on staying with your buddy and on paying attention to details you may overlook during the day. During three night dives, you’ll practice:

PADI Deep Diver

Explore deeper dive sites with confidence at depths down to 40 metres/130ft. Learn to manage your gas supply, go over buddy contact procedures, and buoyancy control.

Your training starts by reviewing reasons for deep diving and how important it is to know your personal limits. During four deep dives with your instructor, you’ll go over:
