Buceo Anilao Beach & Dive Resort is a well-established dive resort set along the scenic shores of San Teodoro, Mabini in Batangas, Philippines. Known as a premier destination for macro, muck, and wide-angle reef diving, the resort sits within one of the most biodiverse parts of the Coral Triangle, offering guests access to over 50 excellent dive sites, a critter-filled house reef, and vibrant coral gardens. Anilao has earned a reputation as the “nudibranch capital of the world,” making it especially popular with underwater photographers and divers seeking rare marine life.

The resort’s accommodations include 23 comfortable rooms: Sea View Deluxe Cabanas and Sea View Superior rooms, both featuring private balconies and ocean views, as well as Standard rooms. All guests enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast to start each day of diving or relaxation. The property is designed to blend local Filipino hospitality with modern comfort and relaxed tropical style, so visitors can unwind after days exploring the water or simply enjoy the sunset views from the resort grounds.

Buceo Anilao’s dive center is a highlight for many visitors, offering a full PADI dive operation with traditional Filipino outrigger boats (“bangkas”) that dock directly on the beach for convenient access. The resort features a spacious camera room with more than 18 workstations, power outlets, air guns, and rinse stations, as well as individual gear storage in the equipment room. Divers are supported with modern equipment, expert dive guides, and options including Nitrox fills, unlimited dives (up to four per day), and trips to nearby sites such as Verde Island upon request.

Beyond diving, the resort provides a welcoming social environment where guests can soak in sunsets, relax by the water, and enjoy local and international cuisine. Friendly, professional staff are noted for their hospitality and assistance, contributing to Buceo Anilao’s strong reputation among both experienced divers and underwater photographers alike.

Buceo Anilao Beach Resort

The Buceo Anilao Dive Centre is a PADI dive centre located on the beach right in front of the Buceo Anilao Beach Resort offering diving trips to some of the most exciting dive sites around the Anilao area. The dive centre is complete with the traditional Filipino diving boats (Bankas), brand new diving and snorkelling equipment and NITROX fills for those wanting to maximise bottom time.

The air conditioned classroom is equipped with modern amenities to accommodate photography and marine life courses as well as the range of PADI courses on offer.

The state of the art camera room with 18 individual working stations is the ideal place for you to work on your underwater footage and keep your cameras protected.

Pre-Bookable Special Trips:

Verde Island or Puerto Galera trips can be organized for an additional fee.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.

PADI Open Water Diver (Inc Equipment)

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

PADI Scuba Refresher

Refresh your scuba diving skills and knowledge. Go over important dive safety concepts.

You’ll go over important dive safety concepts, dive planning essentials and problem management. Your PADI Professional will have you practice putting your gear together and doing a pre-dive safety check with your buddy. In the water, you’ll review all the basic scuba skills with a focus on good buoyancy control.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you're short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

PADI Rescue Diver
