Whether you are starting your scuba journey or an experienced diver, the centre will provide the ultimate dive experience and the highest standard of guidance, education and knowledge to cater for your every need. With a vast range of PADI and NAUI scuba diving courses on offer, the centre is designed to ensure that every guest of every ability can embrace the underwater delights on offer.

The majority of the 40 world-class dive sites are within a 10-minute boat trip from the resort, while the iconic site of Verde Island is approximately one hour away and is offered as a day trip including lunch. Diving schedules are carefully planned and the guides will be happy to discuss your preferences and requests.

For beginners and novice divers, inner bays provide a vast expanse of shallow waters with little or no current, making them to ideal spot to learn or simply marvel the ocean floor with its richly diverse coral reefs and kaleidoscope of tropical reef fish. The waters of Puerto Galero are renowned for their macro paradise, while the strong currents around Verde Island bring large schools of pelagic fauna providing world-class drift diving along spectacular walls and canyons for an enthralling experience. Wrecks and caves are ready to be explored, and the adventurous and thrill-seeking can experience the one-of-a-kind blackwater diving - not to be missed. Whatever your need, request, speciality or wish list, you will be in the expert hands of the team, with all dives being led by professional Divemasters or Instructors in small groups.

The centre is open seven days a week, accommodating up to 65 divers and boosting a dedicated five station camera room. Each diving day consists of three dives per day and one night/dusk dive. Shore diving can also be arranged on request.

PADI Open Water Diver (Inc Equipment)

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you're short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

  • Knowledge Development (online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving – just the first three of five sections of the Open Water Diver course.

  • Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills – just the first three of five dives of the Open Water Diver course

  • Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore – just two of four dives of the Open Water Diver course.

PADI Bubblemaker

Experience scuba diving under the direct supervision of a PADI Pro. Take your first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6ft. For children who are at least 8 years old.

Bubble makers get a chance to:

  • Experience scuba diving under the direct care and supervision of a PADI Pro.

  • Take their first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6 feet.

  • Learn about and use scuba diving equipment made for children - not adults.
