Eagle Ray

Delivers a great and unforgetable atmosphere.

The MV Eagle Ray is a familiar sight to be seen cruising around the islands and atolls of the Maldives. It has a reputation for delivering a great atmosphere and has all the comforts most divers would need.

The Eagle Ray will take you to the most popular dive sites in the Maldives. You will get to experience an array of marine creatures ranging from mantas, sharks, moray eels, napoleons, turtles, blennies, gobies and lobsters. The Eagle Ray is built with a solid wooden construction and it combines Maldivian boat building tradition with the highest level of modern engineering. The vessel has three decks that consist of dining and sundeck areas and 9 air conditioned cabins with attached toilets. The Eagle Ray has 7 fully trained members of staff and a local PADI certified dive master and dive instructor on board at all times, between them they have over 10 years of experience in the diving industry.

Diving is conducted from a “dhoni” which is where your diving gear will remain during the duration of your trip. This is also where the compressors are kept, keeping noise on the mother ship to a minimum. The boat is equipped with life jackets for your safety and has a spacious and luxurious 10ft x 12ft lounge area with a mini bar. The Eagle Ray has 5 double cabins with double beds and 4 twin cabins with 2 single beds. All cabins come with en-suite bathrooms, hot and cold water and air conditioning.

The main deck is where the air conditioned saloon is located; the saloon is equipped with a full audio-visual entertainment system, internet connection, full service bar, table games and a library. Buffet style meals are served and enjoyed in the saloon area or under a shaded area on the upper deck. Dishes consist of international cuisine with some Maldivian and other regional influences to excite your taste buds. The chefs will always try to cater for individual dietary requirements and snacks are provided throughout the day to ensure you don't go hungry.
