Itinerary Overview

Its time to start your Ultimate Diving experience!

Depart Heathrow to Guayaquil. Check in at the Sonesta Hotel where you will be centrally located, the hotel is steps away from Plaza del Sol and a couple of minutes from Mall Del Sol Commercial Center.

What an adventure waiting for you, how exciting!

Once you arrive at San Cristobal Airport your adventure starts. You will be met by our representative and you will visit the San Cristobal Interpretation Center, where you can learn more about the archipelago history, its fauna and flora.

Once this is done you will be hiking for about 2 hours to the Frigate Hill where you will see the endemic vegetation and beautiful views of the island and its surroundings. The main attraction here are the frigate birds.

At the end of the day you will visit Frigate Bay and do some snorkelling.

You are then ready for the hotel transfer, you will be transferred to the Golden Bay Hotel in San Cristobal.

Bartolome is located east of Santiago Island. A small island with the famous pinnacle, 2 dive sites located at 1,5 hours from Itabaca Channel (North side of Santa Cruz Island).

Here the current are moderate with a platform found at approximately 10 meters where a variety of reef fish resides. On the edge of this platform there are underwater cliffs which start at about 15 meters depth with good probabilities to observe pelagic species inclluding white tip reef shark, reef fishes, barracudas, turtles, mobulas, sting rays and a variety of invertebrates.

After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to the Itabaca Channel to board the yacht that will take you to Bartolome, an island with turquoise waters and beautiful white sand beaches

After 2 hours of sailing your tour starts climbing a staircase. From the top you will see a spectacular landscape, where you will see two beautiful bays and fascinating formations of lava and volcanic cones. Here is the famous Pinnacle, which is a huge black lava formation that has eroded over time, representing the most recognized image of the archipelago. Near Pinnacle Rock you will also see two beautiful beaches in the form of a crescent.

This island offers some of the most beautiful landscapes of the archipelago. It is an extinct volcano and has a variety of red soils, orange, green, black and shiny volcanic formations. This is the perfect place to observe the Galapagos penguins. Moreover, you will practice snorkel with sea turtles, sharks, white tip reef, tropical fish, sea lions and many other unique marine species. After lunch, you will visit Sullivan Bay. Here you can see some amazing lava formations, the product of a volcanic eruption in 1903. This is an excellent example of typical forms and colors that contrast with older types of lava.

Another underwater adventure day!

Depending on the availability you will be able to dive the sites around Beagle, Cousins, Daphne and others.

Cousins will give you the opportunity to see sea horses, barracudas, sea lions, Galapagos sharks, white tip reef shark, turtles, reef fishes, sting rays, eagle rays, variety of invertebrates. At surface interval penguins can be observed.

Garrapatero is a long white beach (approximately 1,500 m long) located approximately 19 km to the northeast of Puerto Ayora.

It can be reached by boat (20 minutes) or car, through Bellavista and Cascajo (50 minutes). From the parking area there is a walk of just less than 1 km to the beach. In addition to the beautiful beach, there is a lagoon where flamingos and White-cheeked Pintail Ducks can sometimes be observed. Many birds found in the arid zone as well as shorebirds can be seen there. There is also a rental kayak service to go for a ride and enjoy the lovely landscape.

More underwater time to explore the seabed around the Galapagos Islands.

The center is a reservoir of information on habitats and local conservation, as well as other fascinating relevant statistics. The most striking attraction of this station is certainly the Tortoise Breeding Center, where it is possible to view tortoises of varied sizes and shapes. Travelers here can freely walk and get their photos clicked with the tortoises. Among other inhabitants at the center, you can see the land and marine iguanas and different species of birds.

Sadly, this lovely experience its about to end. After the above tour you will be transferred to Baltra airport for your flight back to mainland Ecuador followed by your international flight leaving Ecuador in the evening.
