Xlendi Bay, Gozo

Located in Xlendi Bay on the island of Gozo. A long established dive centre the shop is beneath the Block Apart Hotel and offers guests a wide range of scuba products from discover scuba diving right through to instructor training. The knowledgeable and fully trained staff have an excellent reputation for scuba training, professionalism, organisation and are on hand to ensure guests have a wonderful experience whilst diving in Gozo. We offer a full spectrum of diving in Gozo, everything from try dives to instructor courses. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced diver looking to expand your skills, our dive center in Gozo provides a welcoming and enjoyable experience in small groups. We offer RAID, SSI, and PADI courses to suit all abilities, including Open Water, basic and advanced wreck, Nitrox, Deep 40, Night & Limited Visibility, Divemaster, and even technical diving courses.

Shore diving accompanied or unaccompanied is also available and you will need to speak with the dive centre on arrival if you wish to do any unaccompanied shore dives. The centre has two modern boats, a 6 metres rib and a day boat which are equipped with drop tanks, first aid kits and oxygen these take clients out to a variety sites including Fungus Rock and Rozi Wreck.

Diving Courses:

All courses include , Equipment rental + air fills, Professional licensed instructor, Theory online, quizzes, exam + short theory review on-site, Practical lessons: confined sessions + 4 dives in open water and Open Water Diver certification.

SSI Open Water Diver

This is a completion of a series of classroom lessons, 5 pool lessons and 5 open water lessons, the award of SSI Open Water Diver prepares the diver to enjoy their diving experience without incurring decompression stops. Kit removal and weight belt removal are included.

Open Water Lessons
5 qualification dives with 5th dive being a pleasure dive. First dive to a Maximum of 12m and subsequent dives to a maximum depth of 18m or 12m if classed as a junior.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

SSI Advanced Diver

In order to complete the SSI Advanced Divers you must have completed a total of 24 dives Including the 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties

SSI Recommend a maximum qualifying depth of 30m but this can be increased to 39m with experience.

Stress and Rescue course can be taken before or after Advanced Diver.

The SSI Advanced Diver course includes 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties.
