The Tasik Ria Resort is surrounded by tropical palm trees and landscaped gardens and is only a 40 minute drive from Manado. This family run tranquil resort offers guests luxury and comfort, the art of relaxation is easy to learn in its picturesque and natural surroundings. Superbly situated near to the numerous reefs of world renowned Bunaken National Park and with its own house reef at the end of the jetty this fantastic dive resort offers guests the chance to experience vibrant reef fish, starfish, colourful coral, giant fans, napoleon wrasse, bumphead parrot fish and turtles!

This charming resort boasts 34 rooms in total, 20 pool view rooms and 14 sea view cottages. All rooms include modern amenities and as suggested in the name, the pool rooms are built around the hotels fresh water swimming pool, some of these come with inter-connecting doors which makes them ideal for families. Those looking for a more romantic getaway maybe better suited to the fabulous sea view cottages, nestled in the beautifully groomed gardens looking out onto the beachfront, guests can enjoy sunset walks or revel in each other’s company whilst relaxing on the private veranda.

Enjoy your day's diving with the on-site well established Tasik Divers, a 5* PADI accredited fully equipped dive centre with a highly trained and professionally strong team of dive masters and instructors that live for the diving. Being a suitable destination for new and experienced divers, the crew knows the best sites and will share this knowledge to ensure you get the most out of your diving holiday. With around 26 dive sites within reach including Bunaken National Park, the Lembeh Strait and also Bangka Archipelago you are spoilt for choice with a myriad of spectacular sites, offering 2 to 6 dives per day, with early morning dives, Mandrin dives (sunset) and night dives guests can decide on what suits them best.

After a busy day diving why not relax in the resort bar and enjoy tales of day’s wonderful diving experiences. Alternatively, head down to the resort’s spa and enjoy a tranquil massage or one of the other spa treatments available. Guests are more than welcome to enjoy a day relaxing around freshwater swimming pool, take advantage of white sandy beach, the choice activities is in abundance.

Tasik Divers

Tasik Ria Resort

Tasik Divers is a PADI 5 star dive centre located on the grounds of the Tasik Ria Resort. Consisting of a highly trained and experienced dive team they live for the diving and pride themselves in offering guests an exciting and enjoyable dive experience. Whether you are new to diving or an experienced diver they will ensure your needs are met by planning out an adventure to suit you.

The dive centre has 2 comfortable speed boats that operate visits to the nearby west side of Bunaken National Park accommodating up to 16 divers at a time. The east side of the national park is further away and a longer journey therefore the 2 purpose built dive boats take guests out to dive this area. If you want to explore the amazing Lembeh Strait and the beautiful Bangka, this can also be arranged with the dive team and fleet of ground transportation.

Diving the Tasik starts from the house reef…at least 5 house reefs and 2 amazing mangroves, 30 seconds from the shore; a new great experience for snorkelers or divers. You also have more than 26 dive sites easily reached by the comfortable speed boats that take up to 16 divers to visit the 50 plus dive sites of Bunaken National Park. If you want to explore the amazing Lembeh Straits and the beautiful Bangka, this can be arranged with the dive centre’s fleet of ground transportation.

Guests can partake in 2 to 6 dives a day giving you the choice to do as few or as many dives as suits you, the centre offers a wide variety of different types of dives including early bird dives, mandarin dives at sunset and night dives.

PADI Open Water Diver (Inc Equipment)

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

PADI Open Water Referral

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

You attain this rating by completing five pool dives and a number of knowledge development sessions with a final exam (which is not rocket science its just diving) and by completing four open water dives.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you're short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider

Immediately recognize scuba diving illnesses treatable with emergency oxygen and be prepared to offer aid. There are no prerequisites or age restrictions. This course is open to everyone.

You’ll learn about dive injuries, different types of emergency oxygen equipment and safety considerations when using oxygen. Then you’ll practice:

PADI Rescue Diver

Become a Rescue Diver. A great level to be. You will have the skills to aid your fellow divers in an emergency.

The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include:

PADI Night Diver

The underwater world changes as day creatures retire & nocturnal organisms emerge. If you've wondered what happens underwater after the sun goes down, enrol in the PADI Night Diver Specialty course.

Scuba diving at night teaches you to focus on what you can see in your light’s beam, on controlling your buoyancy by feel, on staying with your buddy and on paying attention to details you may overlook during the day. During three night dives, you’ll practice:

PADI Deep Diver

Explore deeper dive sites with confidence at depths down to 40 metres/130ft. Learn to manage your gas supply, go over buddy contact procedures, and buoyancy control.

Your training starts by reviewing reasons for deep diving and how important it is to know your personal limits. During four deep dives with your instructor, you’ll go over:

Wreck dive

A trip to the local wreck dives is a must for the experienced diver. It is an amazing experience!
