Located at the north point of North Male Atoll, the dive sites in this area are spectacular and host a kaleidoscope of corals and marine life. The house reef, abundant with fish life is outstanding making this particular resort famous amongst divers. Based on the resort grounds are world renowned Euro Divers welcoming new and experienced divers to enjoy the amazing underwater delights. With access to 35 of the best 40 dive sites in North Male every diver comes up with a beaming smile! From manta rays and reef sharks to vibrant soft and hard coral reefs the waters around the beautiful island resort will not disappoint.

At the Eriyadu Island Resort there are 3 types of accommodation on offer, including 6 standard, 50 deluxe and 4 superior beachfront rooms. Each room comes with its own private veranda where you can sit and unwind whilst enjoying the peace and quiet around the resort. The resort hosts 3 bars, one in the restaurant, a pool bar and the beach bar. By day you can relax with a freshly made cocktail whilst lounging round the pool soaking up some sun and in the evening if you need to cool down and just unwind, the bar at the edge of the water hosts live music performances and discos with exotic cocktails, fine wine and spirits.

The 3 board types available are set to suit all pockets, whether you are looking to budget or to be extravagant, the Eriyadu Island Resort can cater to your needs offering you the option to go on a half-board, full-board or all inclusive basis. All guests dine in the main semi open air restaurant, appreciating the sound of waves lapping and enjoying the scrumptious array of local and international cuisines.

Please note:The Maldivian Government has implemented 3.5% GST (Goods and Service Tax) from the 01st January 2011. This Tax will be charged to all clients for all services provided at the resort, which will also include additional diving services. Pre-booked hotel prices include this charge, children 0-2 accommodation and transfer are free however $8 per night bed tax is payable.

Euro Divers is a 5 Star PADI dive centre located on-site at the Eriyadu Island Resort offering divers a friendly, safe environment with a high standard of service. This well-established dive centre compromises of four multi-lingual, knowledgeable instructors and a wide range of products which means they can professionally organize and guarantee a fun and memorable diving experience. There are around 40 dive sites close to the Eriyadu Island Resort which offer an array of underwater delights from schools of brightly colored fish, turtles, sting rays and white tip sharks! Eriyadu is the most northern island in the Nord Male Atoll. The 4-star island was fully renovated in the year 1998 and offers 60 single or double bungalows within tropical vegetation, only a view steps away from the crystal clear, turquoise sea and ensures the perfect holiday in the island paradise Maldives. The exotic Amann Spa will pamper your body and senses with many different wellnesses offers.

There are a range of experiences on offer whether you choose an individual dive package, a beginner’s course or a course for experienced divers, Euro Divers has it all. All Euro Divers PADI centres provide courses as well as specialties and a wide range of excursion programs for divers such as daily morning and afternoon dives, early morning dives, night dives, special full day excursions, wreck dives, special hammerhead dives and much more. Nitrox is also available in all centres and free of charge for PADI and NRC certified divers. Fluoro diving is now also an option at all the Euro Divers centres in the Maldives. It is a relatively new development nonetheless a very mesmerising one, you will be put in very small groups and equipped with special lights and mask filters which enables you to discover the reef by night. A very fascinating experience!

Euro Divers dive boats are comfortable and equipped with a sundeck, first aid kit, oxygen equipment (DAN) as well as a radio or mobile phone. In between dives the crew offers small refreshments on board.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.

PADI Open Water Diver (Inc Equipment)

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you're short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

Experience scuba diving under the direct supervision of a PADI Pro. Take your first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6ft. For children who are at least 8 years old.
