Palau Pacific Resort is a luxury beachfront retreat located in Koror, Palau, set along a pristine private white-sand beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Just around 30 minutes from Palau International Airport, the resort is surrounded by lush tropical gardens spanning over 60 acres, offering a peaceful and secluded island atmosphere while remaining close to the main town.

The resort features a range of rooms, cottages, villas and overwater bungalows, blending traditional Palauan design with modern comfort. Splash Dive Centre

Palau Pacific Resort

Splash Dive Centre is the dedicated dive centre at Palau Pacific Resort on Ngerkebesang Island, Koror, Palau. Established in 1987, the PADI Dive Centre provides convenient access to Palau’s world-renowned reefs, channels, walls and underwater caverns. Located beside the resort’s private beach, the centre offers both beach and boat diving, with its own pier making daily excursions easy to access.

The surrounding waters are home to an extraordinary variety of marine life, including reef sharks, manta rays, turtles, barracuda and large schools of tropical fish. Divers can explore Palau’s spectacular coral reefs, dramatic drop-offs and famous current-swept channels, with experienced local guides sharing their knowledge of the region’s underwater environments. The centre also offers snorkelling excursions, nature tours and sea kayaking around the Rock Islands.

Splash Dive Centre offers PADI courses and introductory diving experiences for beginners, alongside guided trips for certified divers. Facilities include boat services, equipment rental, guest storage and equipment rinsing areas. The centre also promotes responsible tourism through waste-reduction initiatives and support for local marine research and conservation projects, combining professional diving services with a commitment to protecting Palau’s natural environment.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving - Full Day

This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you're short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

  • Knowledge Development (online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving – just the first three of five sections of the Open Water Diver course.

  • Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills – just the first three of five dives of the Open Water Diver course

PADI Open Water Referral

This is the most popular dive program in the world! And can be your chance to have a lifetime of intense adventures.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

You attain this rating by completing five pool dives and a number of knowledge development sessions with a final exam (which is not rocket science its just diving) and by completing four open water dives.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.
