ORCA Dive Club Soma Bay is a premier dive centre located at The Breakers Diving & Surfing Lodge on the stunning Ras Abu Soma peninsula, offering direct access to one of the Red Sea's most spectacular house reefs. Reached via a 420-metre jetty extending over the reef, the dive centre provides unlimited opportunities to explore vibrant coral gardens, dramatic drop-offs and an abundance of marine life, alongside boat trips to many of the Red Sea's most celebrated dive sites. Its prime location, crystal-clear waters and exceptional reef make Soma Bay an ideal destination for both recreational and experienced divers.

Operating as an SSI Training Centre with instruction also available through PADI, ORCA Dive Club Soma Bay offers a comprehensive range of internationally recognised diving courses, guided dives, freediving, technical diving and rebreather training. The modern dive centre is equipped with high-quality rental equipment, Nitrox filling systems, dedicated compressor facilities and a fully equipped dive shop, while experienced multilingual instructors ensure a safe, personalised and enjoyable diving experience for divers of all abilities.

Part of the renowned ORCA Dive Clubs network, which has been delivering exceptional diving holidays since 1991, ORCA Dive Club Soma Bay combines professional service with first-class facilities in one of Egypt's leading dive destinations. Whether exploring the colourful house reef, joining full-day boat excursions or advancing diving skills through specialist training, guests can look forward to unforgettable underwater adventures in the heart of the Red Sea.

SSI Open Water Diver

This is a completion of a series of classroom lessons, 5 pool lessons and 5 open water lessons, the award of SSI Open Water Diver prepares the diver to enjoy their diving experience without incurring decompression stops. Kit removal and weight belt removal are included.

Open Water Lessons
5 qualification dives with 5th dive being a pleasure dive. First dive to a Maximum of 12m and subsequent dives to a maximum depth of 18m or 12m if classed as a junior.

From the beginning to end of the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including areas such as dive equipment and techniques that will give you the confidence and skill to become a responsible diver.

SSI Advanced Diver

In order to complete the SSI Advanced Divers you must have completed a total of 24 dives Including the 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties

SSI Recommend a maximum qualifying depth of 30m but this can be increased to 39m with experience.

Stress and Rescue course can be taken before or after Advanced Diver.

The SSI Advanced Diver course includes 5 open water dives and done 4 specialties.
