Coral Garden Resort

The Coral Garden Resort is a small, true divers resort located on the beautiful Gassous Bay to the south of Safaga on the northern tip of a long sandy beach with Orca Dive Club on-site.

This bungalow complex in Gassous Bay with 32 rooms is managed by ORCA itself and is accordingly geared towards the needs of divers and snorkelers. The paths in the facility are all pleasantly short. If you are looking for other diversions besides diving, snorkelling, swimming, and sunbathing, there is the large chess board and the cosy shisha corner. After dinner, the beach bar invites you to end the day with a glass of wine or something similar. Free WIFI is available to all guests at the dive centre and beach bar.

The bungalows are all comfortably furnished with air conditioning to keep you cool during the hot Egyptian afternoons as well as set up with a nice rage of rooms amenities. The hexagonal basic cut makes the bungalows very spacious and conveys a tranquil atmosphere.

During the day there is a large selection of food and drinks at the beach bar. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style form on the tower-like roof terrace, from which you have a wonderful view over Gassous Bay. Cocktails and mocktails are served at the beach bar.

Orca Dive Club is located directly on a 600-metre-long sandy beach, which offers plenty of space for relaxation and rest that is guaranteed not to be disturbed by anyone. Complete rental equipment, also for children, enough 12 and 15 litre aluminium tanks are available to divers, which are filled by two bauer compressors. Nitrox qualified divers can also take advantage of the Nitrox system on-site.

Orca Divers

Safaga

The ORCA Dive Club in Safaga is something like the mother of all ORCA bases in the Red Sea. Technical diving has an important place at the base, rebreathers can be serviced in the dedicated technical workshop and divers can take advantage of the different gases available to satisfy the different needs of any technical diver.

The 3 spacious dive boats from ORCA are moored at the dive centre’s own jetty, immediately adjacent to the diving centre. They are used to access the inner reefs around Tobia, but even more so the outer reefs. Highlights include the panoramic reef, which already has the characteristics of an offshore reef, Middle Reef and Abu Kafan.

The wide range of 50 equipment sets available to rent makes it possible for every diver to find something in his/her sizes. There are also 12, 15 and 20 litre steel tanks available to divers.

A membrane system which provides 800 litres Nitrox per minute, as well as four other Bauer compressors (350 l/min and 600 l/min) ensure that there is always enough air or breathing gas available in Safaga.

Please Note:

All courses include equipment and instructor services. Manuals and certification fees are not included and will be charged at the dive centre.
