Here you will experience unrivalled Belize scuba diving and incredible snorkeling just steps away from private beach cabanas and oceanfront reef houses.

This boutique island resort has a variety of 12 rustic beach cabanas and 2 sizable oceanfront reef houses accommodating up to 35 guests. Here you can just drift off to sleep amidst the gentle sounds of waves lapping the beach and of palm leaves in the tropical breeze. Rise up in the morning surrounded by white sand and turquoise water. The accommodations are very comfortable and are equipped with hot and cold freshwater showers. Electricity is available around-the-clock and air conditioning is available on request. This is truly Island rustic living with the best diving in Belize.

Isla Marisol offers influenced Caribbean food, everything is fresh, juice, coffee, water and snacks are served all day in the dining room. Being almost isolated on an island paradise it is essential to ensure the kitchen is equipped with whatever special ingredients are needed to meet dietary requests so please make sure you advise us at the time of booking.

Isla Marisol Resort is a certified PADI Belize Diving Resort offering unbeatable and unforgettable local dive trips to the nearby dive sites including diving with the whale sharks between March and June as well as the world famous and one of Jacques Cousteau’s favourite dive sites, the Great Blue Hole. With over 700 patch reefs to explore at Glover’s Reef Atoll, you are in for an absolute treat with stunning coral gardens, schools of colourful fish, turtles, lobsters, flamingo tongues, and a variety of other sea creatures.

When you are not diving, relaxing with a nice cold drink on a deck chair or at the bar built on stilts over the ocean is an absolute must.

Beach Cabana

12 beach cabanas each one for two people with a queen and a double bed or one king bed. Sitting on stilts above the sand, each cabana has air-conditioning and fans with a private ensuite bathroom. The veranda has a hammock and chairs for admiring the views.

Oceanfront Reef House

Accommodating 4-6 people in a house with ocean views. The two large bedrooms: one with a king bed and the other with two queen beds. There is a sofa bed in the living room for additional guests. The resort just has two reef houses which are 36-foot private verandas high above the sea, perfect for a family or group of friends.

Isla Marisol Resort is a certified PADI Belize Diving Resort offering unbeatable and unforgettable diving adventures on one of Belize’s most attractive atolls, Glover’s Reef.

Isla Marisol Resort offers 3 dives every day and night dives each night. Local dives are scheduled every day in the waters surrounding Glover’s Reef Marine Reserve. Most local dive sites are only 5 to15 minutes ride from the resort, allowing for short boat rides and long, luxuriating dives.

The dive centre is very spacious and located on a beautiful dock with a fleet of 2 well maintained dive boats used for dives along the reef.

PADI Scuba Review

Refresh your scuba diving skills and knowledge. Go over important dive safety concepts.

You’ll go over important dive safety concepts, dive planning essentials and problem management. Your PADI Professional will have you practice putting your gear together and doing a pre-dive safety check with your buddy. In the water, you’ll review all the basic scuba skills with a focus on good buoyancy control.

PADI Scuba Diver

This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Dive Course. If you’re short on time but really want to become a diver, The PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver program gives you the opportunity to take your diving skill to the next level through three new areas of diving.
You complete your Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Night Dive and two other dives for a total of five to attain your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This certification includes five dives, including the Deep Diver, the Underwater Navigation Diver and three of the following: You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you're short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

PADI Bubblemaker

Experience scuba diving under the direct supervision of a PADI Pro. Take your first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6ft. For children who are at least 8 years old.

PADI Rescue Diver

Become a Rescue Diver. A great level to be. You will have the skills to aid your fellow divers in an emergency.

The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include:

PADI Divemaster

Be a leader who mentors and motivates others. Gain dive knowledge, supervision abilities, and become a role model to divers around the world.

The PADI Dive master course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities. Through knowledge development sessions, water skills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessment, you develop the skills to organize and direct a variety of scuba diving activities. Topics and practical workshops include:
