Alam Anda is located on the northeast coast of Bali at the beachfront, far from the other tourists on the island. Filled with palm trees, hundreds of coconut, banana and eucalyptus trees this location is idyllic. On the almost empty beaches you may occasionally meet a fisherman or children playing, but no tourists. It is possible to experience the culture and typical lifestyle of the people of Bali here, with the resort’s privileged location.

The hotel features bungalows, losmen and villas. Built from bamboo, mahogany and palm wood the sea view cottages thatched with the traditional Alang Alang grass will leave you feeling immersed in the Bali way of life. The luxury villa is ideal for honeymooners, with a private swimming pool while access to a private garden makes them perfect for families too. The new open-air restaurant offers traditional Indonesian and Balinese food, traditional international cuisine while the bar also serves light refreshments and fresh fruit juices.

Multiple excursions are offered going as far as the centre of the island but travelling in small busses away from the bustling roads of the south. You’ll be able to experience events such as dances and traditional Balinese ceremonies up close and there are frequently chances to be able to personally take part in village life. There are numerous tours on offer, taking you to visit different temples and landscapes. In addition to the cultural attractions, there are opportunities for adventure tours such as visiting Ubud Monkey Forest or quad biking to the heart of Bali on the Quad Tour Drive. There are also multiple hiking tours on offer such as hiking to the top of Mount Batur with its active craters and crater lake. Alternatively take the Bali Eco walk tour where you will experience the fruits, herbs and spices of the rainforest as well as visiting the temples at Cave Goa Maya. You can even take part in water sports with the Rafting Tour on the Ayung River. Alternatively, get relaxed, cleansed and regenerated at the natural spa onsite.

Werner Lau Dive Centre is located at Alam Anda, 50 metres from the beach. There is plenty of equipment available to hire and numerous courses for beginners through to Open Water Diver certification. The staff are also qualified to teach and certify specialist courses. As well as diving from the beach, there are a number of sites that can be reached in less than 20 minutes by boat.
